Bol is a Pakistani Movie starring Atif Aslam so your expectations from the music of Bol are quite obvious. Atif Aslam himself has sung just 2 songs in album and Music composition mainly by Shoaib Mansoor who happens to be Director of the Movie.

Album begins with Hona tha Pyar by Atif Aslam and Hadiqa Kaini. Sounds typical Atif Song which isn’t catchy at first impression but liking begins on repeated hearing. Guitar and Atif’s voice at the beginning is awesome and Hadiqa Kaini is melodious. Overall a sweet romantic duet.

Din Pareshan hai by Sajjad Ali is a lyrics based track which I loved most out of the album. Love for Life is expressed in beautiful composition. Film version of the same is bit slow and it goes better and better with the flow. Go Listen it.

Dil Janiya is a solo by Hadiqa Kaini in Punjabi-sh lyrics with Rap in between. In short a good Pop song. Again a good one.

Saiyan Bole by Shabnam Majeed, Sahir Ali Bugga, Bina Jawad is a Mujra song which you can skip.

Mumkin hai by Ahmed Jahanzeb & Shuja Haider is another nice composition which you will love to listen again. Nice Lyrics and well designed.

Kaho (Aaj Bol do) which is again by Atif Aslam and Hadiqa Kaini is a loud Rocking number. Enough to tap your feet and sing aloud.

At last, there is Bol Background Music which sounds good at the beginning but too long to listen complete track.

Being Shoaib Mansoor’s Film, after Khuda kay Liye, I expected much from the music. Though not completely disappointing but when compared, it’s not of that level. Still, worth giving a try atleast and Must try if you are Atif’s fan.

Looking at the Promos of Shaitan Movie, you expect the Music of Shaitan to be unusual and different and obviously it is. New, Unconventional, Experimental could be some tags to describe Music of Shaitan. New comer Composer Prashant Pillai tried to deliver very different genre like Anurag Kashyap does.

Yes, even I expected it to be Amit Trivedi but the Music is mostly designed by Prashant Pillai and some of the songs by Amar Mohile, Ranjit Barot and Anupam Roy. And Lyrics by Sanjeev Sharma in association with K.S. Krishnan and Colin Terence.

Album begins with Bali – Sound of Shaitan (the one which is played in background of promo / trailer). Drum beats and the cutting edge music compliments the tagline Face your Inner Shaitan. Song doesn’t has to do much with the lyrics (though it has some Hindi words and Malayalam Mantra going on) as Music is enough to make instant impact on your mind.

Nasha sung by Prashant Pillai and Bindu Nambiar won’t impress you on first hearing but it’s a nice composition. Female voice behind mic “Rubaroo hai meri Shaitaani” sounds awesome. Even the Lyrics are quite good. Rock and Soul version of Nasha is more unleashing, truly likeable especially the Band towards ending of the song.

Dhuyen ki Dhun me badhte hai ye kadam, Andheri hai ye Masti, Ayyashi ki Kasam goes the next track called Josh and as the name says, song is full of Josh and Junoon. With not so sensible lyrics but Music and Drums will make you hit on the dance floor.

Fareeda begins like a soft number with Rock on between. Suraj Jagan’s voice is a perfectly suitable for such a song with rock fusion. Listen it.

O Yaara is again an experimental track with Sufi and rock fusion sung by Kirti Sagathia and Preeti Pillai. Whereas the song is mild but turns to Rock towards the end but overall a good composition.

Don’t know why this track – Pintya is taken in movie. May be it is picturised on Dahi handi event. Complete Marathi Song and indifferent from other tracks in movie and even voice of Chandan Shive is complimenting. Overall, an engaging track.

Zindagi – Sensible Lyrics, Awesome Music, sung and composed by Ranjit Barot. Song you will love to hear once again.

You’ll love Suzanne D’mello’s voice in Amy’s Theme, totally soulful and soothing. Some other instrumentals (Music tracks) included are Enter, Retro Pop Shit, Unleashed and Outro on which I will not comment.

To conclude, Shaitan is very unusual and path breaking. Music which you don’t confront with every Friday release and worth giving a try.

You never expected that the sequel Bheja Fry 2 will also have Songs too. Maybe Sagar Ballary has something different in his mind this time who roped in Ishq Bector to compose fun filled songs along with Shree D and Sagar Desai. Album has 6 tracks including one remix with lyrics to roll out laughter.

It starts with Ishq da Keeda which sounds like Qawwali sung by mainly Shree D and some part by Ishq Bector. It makes me remember of The Mutton Song from Luv ka The End, You may feel what Non Sense you are listening to but at the same time, you will enjoy the track.

Who’s that Monkey, Nautanki on the Dance Floor goes the chorus of next track called We go Crazy which I liked most from this album (Just because of Funny Lyrics) again sung by Shree D along with Apeksha Dandekar. On first hearing, you will keep humming the chorus but not to forget, even the music is well designed and Shree D’s voice suits the track completely.

Vinay Pathak himself did playback singing for O Rahi composed by Guest Music Composer – Sneha Khanwalkar. Music and Lyrics are typical Bharat Bhushan (Vinay Pathak’s Character in Movie) kind and just another enjoyable track on the way.

Banjaare by Rekha Rao whose voice sounds like some folk song (though it is not) mixed with modern music. It is completely of different genre comparing with other tracks from Album. Some songs just fade out or forgotten and this falls in same category.

Burra Na Maano Ji may have been picturised on Vinay Pathak in the beginning of movie which describes character of Bharat Bhushan. Along with Shree D is Dolly Peters who compliments in Playback singing.

At the end, we have We Go Crazy Remix version whose lyrics are not exactly as the original but little twisted. This number you will soon listen in clubs and DJ parties as it has dancing groovy beats.

Bheja Fry 2 (whose just name is enough) is certainly not a music eccentric movie but the tracks are appreciable and will surely add to the success of this entertainer. Overall, the music is nice and entertaining (may roll you on the floor laughing in some cases) or you may call it complete Bheja Fry. Songs you should not miss are We Go Crazy and O Rahi.

Being a Red Chillies’ Production Movie (Shahrukh Khan himself involved), one obviously have good expectations from Movie and so from it’s Music. Music album is composed by Pritam Chakraborty and two others namely Aashish Rego and Shree D.

Irfan Siddique is lyricist for most of the songs in association with Roshan Abbas who is apparently Director of the movie and one track by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Album begins with title song which you may heard on promos called “Always Kabhi Kabhi” sung by Bhavin Dhanak, Sanahmoidutty and Apeksha Dandekar. Song isn’t catchy but soon you will start liking it on repeated hearing. Sufi voice in between adds spice to the song however.

You don’t my Frequency, why can’t you just let me free goes the chorus of the second song called “Antenna” sung by Benny Dayal, Roshan Abbas and Apeksha Dandekar. What attracted me in this song is Lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya composed by Pritam. In beginning, sounds like a Rap song with funky lyrics which will surely grab attraction of youths.

School ke Din begins with Ishq Bector’s rap and the song will remind you of memories of good old School days. Lyrics are quite realistic and I guess many of you will start relating your life with it. Music however is not new but it just goes with flow.

Next track is a Girlish song sung by Sunidhi Chauhan called “Better not Mess with me” reminds me of song called Hey ya from Kidnap. It’s typically racy and brimming with attitude due to the electronic touch to the song. There’s another club mix version of this track sung by Shefali Alvaris. Song describes the attitude of girl and some may find it interesting but to be honest, I didn’t feel like listening to a ROCK music.

Undi the condi is next track which I guess is picturized during some college event / celebration but isn’t remarkable and sound like just another old college number. It’s a duet by Shaan and Aditi Singh Sharma with okie dokie lyrics by Irfan Siddique.

Song to be noticed from this complete album is “Jaane Kyon” with awesome Music composition and Lyrics resulting into a soulful track. This surely makes an instantaneous impact on first hearing. Sufi version by Shafaqat Amanat Ali Khan is again appreciable as a soft number of album.

Album ends with Unplugged version of Always Kabhi Kabhi which is mostly in English with nice music design and Lyrics. Chorus singing “Tu meri Justajoo” at the end is cherishing.

To conclude, I would say it is not a complete disappointment but one should not expect much and you will enjoy the album. Though none of the tracks are path breaking but some of the worth listening tracks would be Jaane Kyon, School ke Din and Antenna.
