You never expected that the sequel Bheja Fry 2 will also have Songs too. Maybe Sagar Ballary has something different in his mind this time who roped in Ishq Bector to compose fun filled songs along with Shree D and Sagar Desai. Album has 6 tracks including one remix with lyrics to roll out laughter.
It starts with Ishq da Keeda which sounds like Qawwali sung by mainly Shree D and some part by Ishq Bector. It makes me remember of The Mutton Song from Luv ka The End, You may feel what Non Sense you are listening to but at the same time, you will enjoy the track.
Who’s that Monkey, Nautanki on the Dance Floor goes the chorus of next track called We go Crazy which I liked most from this album (Just because of Funny Lyrics) again sung by Shree D along with Apeksha Dandekar. On first hearing, you will keep humming the chorus but not to forget, even the music is well designed and Shree D’s voice suits the track completely.
Vinay Pathak himself did playback singing for O Rahi composed by Guest Music Composer – Sneha Khanwalkar. Music and Lyrics are typical Bharat Bhushan (Vinay Pathak’s Character in Movie) kind and just another enjoyable track on the way.
Banjaare by Rekha Rao whose voice sounds like some folk song (though it is not) mixed with modern music. It is completely of different genre comparing with other tracks from Album. Some songs just fade out or forgotten and this falls in same category.
Burra Na Maano Ji may have been picturised on Vinay Pathak in the beginning of movie which describes character of Bharat Bhushan. Along with Shree D is Dolly Peters who compliments in Playback singing.
At the end, we have We Go Crazy Remix version whose lyrics are not exactly as the original but little twisted. This number you will soon listen in clubs and DJ parties as it has dancing groovy beats.
Bheja Fry 2 (whose just name is enough) is certainly not a music eccentric movie but the tracks are appreciable and will surely add to the success of this entertainer. Overall, the music is nice and entertaining (may roll you on the floor laughing in some cases) or you may call it complete Bheja Fry. Songs you should not miss are We Go Crazy and O Rahi.
